Prof Tess Lea

Professor, University of Sydney

Professor Tess Lea is an anthropologist who specialises in understanding sources of infrastructural and policy dysfunction. She is Research Advisor to the non-profit company Healthabitat, whose Housing for Health methodology has helped draw attention to the importance of sound design and planned maintenance in Indigenous housing. Her latest work with AHURI draws attention to the critical importance of climate change, along with maintenance, when thinking about issues of sustainability.
