Principal Architect and Melbourne Studio Lead, Bickerton Masters Architecture
Rich is a Principal Architect and Melbourne Studio Lead at Bickerton Masters Architecture. He has been a key contributor for over 10 years to the design and delivery of projects that provide support to vulnerable people, promote independence, and contribute to a sense of agency for the participants who dwell and work in the places that are created by these projects. These include supported accommodation, accommodation for women who are homeless, schools for students with additional needs, schools designed specifically for students with autism, and multiple stages for a day centre providing programs and services for adults with an intellectual disability.
Rich has a particular focus on understanding and assisting organisations and institutions to conceive and realise their project vision; and strong interest in accessible and affordable housing, healthy architecture, pedagogy, design for disability, and for creating environments that enrich lives.
