Manager Strategic Projects, Q Shelter
Emma Greenhalgh has over twenty years’ experience in social policy, planning, research and program development in the field of affordable housing and homelessness. This includes employment with research and tertiary education institutions, large local governments, land development authorities, the not-for-profit sector, and State government. One of Emma’s most recent role was the project manager for the Queensland Department of Housing and Public Work’s housing and homelessness response for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. Emma joined Q Shelter in November 2018, and is currently the Manager, Strategic Projects.
Emma’s has formal qualifications in urban and regional planning, and holds a Masters of Applied Science (Research).
Emma is also the Treasurer of National Shelter.
