Sophie Dyring

Sophie Dyring is Director of Schored Projects, an accomplished Melbourne based cross disciplinary practice focused on socially responsive and sustainable design solutions. Sophie, as an architect and landscape architect, leads her team in designing and delivering much-needed social and affordable housing projects. Her clientele includes State Government departments, Victorian municipalities, and community housing organisations.

Supporting her practice, Sophie actively engages in social housing advocacy and research. She co-authored the award-winning publication "A Design Guide for Older Women's Housing" and has co-convened events such as the “Making Home” series at M Pavilion and the “Women, Design and Housing” symposium during Melbourne Design Week. Sophie's expertise is also sought after by the South Australia and New South Wales State Governments, where she serves as a member of the Design Review Panel, offering valuable insights on best practice housing and landscapes.
