Shane Smith

Shane (Harry) Smith is a strategic advisor, lecturer and social impact collaborator across the health and human services sectors.  As the Head of Strategic Initiatives at Haven Home Safe, Harry works with a range of internal and external stakeholders to explore and develop initiatives that work to address homelessness and provide positive outcomes for people seeking stable and affordable housing.

With over 25 years’ experience working within both government and the not-for-profit sectors, holding key leadership and governance roles across a number of program and policy areas, he brings a deep understanding of the various drivers and complexities underpinning homelessness and affordable housing.  Harry also lectures in a specialist MBA Health Leadership and Economics program at Kaplan Business School in Melbourne, equipping future leaders to continue tackle social exclusion and health inequalities.
