Dr Natalie Allen

Natalie is a Director at The Urban Advisory and leads a team of transdisciplinary urban advisors who work across scales and across New Zealand to ensure our neighbourhoods, towns and cities are places where people can thrive. She specialises in designing integrated neighbourhoods that enhance wellbeing and has a background in architecture, urban design and urban governance and she has extensive research experience across a range of critical urban topics, including: innovative housing models, self-determination through housing, community wealth building, outcomes reporting and how people value urban amenities in neighbourhoods. She maintains wide-ranging industry networks and mentors many up and coming urbanists.
