Cassandra Politanski is the current Coordinator for Wintringham’s Audrey Rainsford Supportive Housing.  Wintringham is a not-for-profit organisation providing Community Housing, Specialist Homelessness Support, NDIS and Aged Care Services for people aged 50 years and older, who have experienced or are vulnerable to homelessness.  Audrey Rainsford Supportive Housing is a 60 apartment social housing building with a flourishing community located on Lincoln Square in Carlton.  There are communal areas in development, with plans for spaces dedicated to recreation, clinical and in-reach services, as well as a community garden.  The program offers on site housing case workers, recreation, and tenancy support, as well as after-hours concierge. 

Over the last 13 years Cassandra has worked in a variety of roles in disability, mental health and housing and homelessness.  She is passionate about supporting people experiencing homelessness, and has a particular interest in creating thriving communities.  Cassandra has previously been a speaker at the theMHS Conference and co-authored an article for the journal Newparadigm on consumer engaged evaluation to support innovation in Peer Recovery Communities.
